2. Make a lantern.

This is really a lantern making festival, and getting ready for the event is half the fun. You can make lanterns at home (check out our Pinterest page for ideas and tutorials), at one of our free community lantern-making workshops, or at the festival right before the parade starts. Special workshops will also be held for students at area schools, including Hillsboro High School and its feeder elementary and middle schools. (Contact us to find out how your school or group can participate.)

3. Volunteer to help out before, during, or after the event.

We need lots of help to make Nashville Lantern Festival a success. Email your interests and availability to nashvillelanternfestival@gmail.com.
